Extraodinary!! Dan & Teresa Sumter SC Review Submitted: August 18, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009 From initial contact, scheduling, check-in, and check-out Marcia McNamee was a pleasure to work with. Facility is outstanding and exceeded expectations. Clean and well maintained. Very large ... 12 people can get lost here. Prime location on south end of Lake Keowee. Grocery stores close by. Nearest boat ramp at marina 2.5 miles away. Usage fee for ramp is $7.00 (4 for trailer storage). First time to lake - beautiful water (visibility 10+ feet) ... I'm sold ... will be moving here in the future. Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Look no further! MindyS Greenville, SC, USA Review Submitted: October 16, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008 You can stop your search for the perfect rental on Lake Keowee-this is it!!! The house is picture perfect. There are large bedrooms & bathrooms galore - plenty of "private space" and massive amounts of "group space!" The living room is large, lovely, and comfortable with a lovely view of the grounds, the lake, and sailboats....the downstairs is just waiting for a party with a pool table, television, and ping pong table (not to mention the foosball and airhockey and separate complete kitchen....). The dock is lovely for enjoying and fishing...the house is very pretty and spacious...this is just the perfect week or weekend! There is even a baby room with a crib, off of a large bedroom. The house is spotlessly clean and modern. The location is marvelous - situated on a perfect quiet cove on the south end of the lake, and close to the action if that's where you are headed. The owner is super and very responsive and friendly. I just can't recommend Serenity Place enough! Mindy Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers

The view of the lake is great and the porches are inviting. The bedrooms are comfortable. It is a wonderful home away from home. We have rented from this owner every year for almost 10 years. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! There was plenty of room and even tho it rained we had fun!! The house was clean and the owners are top notch to work with. If you are looking for a really nice place to rent to relax this is a VERY nice place. Thanks for everything!!!!!!!!!! You all were great! It is very close to Clemson University, which makes it a great place to stay for University events, such as graduations or football games. Additionally, the home is in a great neighborhood where all of the residents are very friendly. The home is within a mile from a major grocery chain, as well as a number of great restaurants. Everything was provided. We literally only had to bring our suitcases full of clothes... linens, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and even a new grill were provided! Great view and location on Lake Keowee. Plenty of water, and even a nice covered dock is provided. Absolutely a fantastic place to stay... the pictures do not do the home justice! Location on the lake is perfect, too, with close access to everything in Seneca. View is fantastic. Great information on area and places to eat are provided in a book at the home. Totally enjoyable! The layout of the house allows for a comfortable atmosphere for a large family but at the same time is large enough to allow for some privacy and quiet time. The house is always immaculate and equipped with anything that you could possibly need. From shooting pool, to ping pong, to swimming, to sitting on the deck and taking it all in, this house has it all! The owners are very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They go out of their way to assure that you have a good time. We cherish the memories that have been made at Serenity Place and look forward for many more to come. Owner's Response: We were fortunate to meet this lovely family, and even joined them for dinner when they invited us to stay. The food and company were magnificent! PS.....We don't expect our renters to invite us to dinner!!
